Best in the world is still mum

It's not mother's day. Had been having some thoughts about how I survived my degree, master... and hopefully now my doctorate. I realised house work really takes up your time. The cooking, washing and cleaning. Mum took care of all that when I was in school. I will say without her super mum mode, I will not be able to have so much time learning. Now I realised how much hard work it is. Someone told me you only see house work when you do not do it. ha..ha..

Working and house work really did not leave me with much energy for study. I am still amazed thinking how I managed my master - wake up at 5:30am - shower, 6am - go to work, 7am -start work, 4:30pm leave work, have dinner, do homework and 8pm class, 11pm do some reading and 12am go to bed. Of course I only need to clean the house (my rented place) once a month according to the duty roaster. Clothes and ironing will be taken care by mum. How much I appreciate all those right this moment when I have to do it on my own.

Thanks mum!
