Today in the news, a Turkish actor is currently the hit of cinemas (sorry cannot remember the name :P) but the movie is not so well accepted by Germans here. One of the reason given was it is a nuisance to read the subtitle. Unlike most movies for German consumption this movie was not translated to German. So if you want to watch this movie you have to watch it in Turkish and read the translation in German. Of course the German speaking community in Europe is big.

I just realised something as I was writing my project proposal. Nope I don't usually work on weekends but this weekend is an exception because I have two project proposals deadline by mid December and this mean I only have about 1 week time for two proposals (20 and 30 pages each). As I was writing partially in English and broken German, I realised writing in German helps you to think in more details. The German grammar is so precise that you really need to write in details and also in a way "ask you questions" as you write.
