Do you get tired of loving God?

Some of us might be a Christian for very very long. But does time matter in our relationship with God?

For me, I believe it matters only if we grow in Him. If we do not even grow in Him after being a Christian for very long, then it brings no meaning. That means after so long we are still infant. Some might say, well we have serve Him a lot. But, if we do not grow in Him, then does that mean that we are only working in various ministry. Serving in Ministry will do difference in us unless we depends more on His strength and lesser in ours cause there is where we experience His grace and mercy.

Ok...what is that got to do with loving God? I believe it has a lot to do with loving God. Cause instead of growing tired in loving God, we should love Him even more as we grew older in age and grew older in calling ourselves as Christian. Cause serving Him should help us to love Him even more and trust Him even more. Instead, I think there is many of us today that serve God without Him. It's more to what I want to do, instead of what God wants me to do. It's more of what I can get through the ministry or through serving than how can God use me through the ministry. Do we actually still remember the reason why we are involve in church activities?

Well, another thing that spur me to ask this question is that, if we our love to God is still fresh and new, can we do things in our lives without Him?

Many times, we plan our future without having Him taking place. Or sometimes, after we have plan our future than only we tell God that the small corner there is where He fits. Hmm, the question might be, are we tired of loving God or we are not train to put Him in our daily lives. Cause it is always easier to escape, to trust on our ability, to trust on what we can achieve, than to trust in what God can do.

Well, typing this does not make me any better than most of us. But, it helps to remind me that do not give up in loving Him and to have Him first in all my plan.Sometimes I get distracted in saying, God can I put you aside for a while, while I do what most people are doing -  earning big buck, travelling the whole earth, maybe if by "God's grace" become a filthy rich guy, become a little famous in my industry and when I am satisfied with what I have achieved then only I come to think of You, serve You, build relationship with You.

Well, can God wait? I think He will wait...but can we wait? That I can't answer, cause who can guarantee that we will be alive when "we are satisfied" or even who can guarantee that there will be a time where "we are satisfied".

Lord, help me to love YOU more and more.
