Sat for my theory test this morning. It was a long journey. Sian Lun and I registered for driving courses sometime in May last year. It was almost a year ago. We could take the test in English but there are no English learning material and we have to pay extra for the interpreter (stand: Dec 2008). So we decided to learn in German and take the test in German and that was quite some challenge. The problem with learning in German is we not only need to understand the technical terms,  driving rules, formulas and of all sentence structure - in order to understand the question and the answer correctly.

After learning for almost a year, yeah we have other programs in between - choir concerts, church activities, holidays :) etc. I decided to register for the test in mid April. It was during that time, I found out that since January 2009 we could actually do the test in English without extra cost. Sian Lun's deadline was 6 of May and mine 26th of May. Both of us learnt like crazy again - this time in English and of course it is easier because the language is more familiar. Hubby took the opportunity to really work on - go go go. The school also managed to arrange an appointment for him, even though it was really tight.

Hubby took the test on 27th April and I did mine today. Praise the Lord both of us passed!!! So one thing done, the next will be the driving. I think this will be a bigger challenge for me as compared to hubby - but that is another story :)
