While listening to the Focus on the Family podcast, i heard this statement (my paraphrased version): "There are things worth waiting - like why we all wait for the presents under the christmas tree. There would be an intensified experience if we wait, and it makes the things special."

Many a times we just do not have the patience. We want things fast. We make excuses to "allow" us to do things earlier than we should instead of waiting or even say no to them. But by doing so, first, we purposely go against the will of God. Secondly, we miss and loose the chance to get things at the best timing, and will never be able to enjoy them in a special way.

we all should be glad that we have all the chance to learn this lesson in our lives, and even if we missed some of them, we will still be forgiven and given new opportunities.
