don't jump to conclusion straight away, ok? read on first please... :)

i am kind of surprised when i saw this site - a missionary travel agency? Why on earth do we need one? Are others all not honest? But all these questions are somehow answered as i browse through the site. 

besides arranging missionary travel flights, the owner Mr. Mast had actually been doing his best (24/7) in helping missionaries and christian workers with their travelling needs. In the about us section, you can see how he provided timely flight arrangement for a pastor family last minute. Impressive and sincere comments were left by customers, and perhaps now friends on how the agency had been a blessing to its customers throughout the years. 

from the testimonials, i see something different - passion and determination to serve. Profit is no longer the main focus. It started with an idea from Mr. Mast, and today they are a company with  4 locations and 18 full time employees! Not very big, but big enough! The name of the agency is taken from Matthew 7:12 "doing unto others as we would have them do to us." and the tagline, "We Go The Second Mile" is drawn from Matthew 5:41. I believe with such beliefs, they are going to go the extra miles for every customer to serve the Lord and them. 

The Golden Rule travel agency specializes in travel arrangements for missionary and non-profit
organizations. It will put in extra effort to find lower fares. Another interesting approach they have is the personal contact part - they prefer personal touch in getting customers they needs and wishes carried out. I personally find that a good point too - we all are human, and we like personal contacts... machines are at the end of the day just tools.
