was listening to wcsg.org radio, and heard a listener sharing about how a song had helped her relatives during tough time - Praise you in the storm by Casting Crowns. The lyrics has this as chorus:
And I'll praise you in this storm
and I will lift my hands
for You are who You are
no matter where I am
and every tear I've cried
You hold in your hand
You never left my side
and though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm
being joyful in the midst of troubles and tests is difficult. On one hand you know things will be better, without knowing when. on the other hand, the fact stays - you are still in one of the lowest part of your life. The lyrics did say something to encourage us - "You are who You are, no matter where I am." The only thing can still be a hope for all of us, is how God promised to stay true and faithful. If God is not true to His words, i doubt we will believe in such a god nor is this god worthy to be believed in. Therefore there are more than any reason why we should have faith in Him, during good times or bad times.
"and though my heart is torn, I will praise You in this storm."
