If you take Monday as the first day then today is the start of a new week. We had a guest over for the weekend and had lots of fun showing Kassel around. Took walks along the Fulda river and in the Willhelmshöhe hill park. It was a wonderful weekend. Logically I should be energized after such a weekend. However, I feel so tired and lethargic when I turn on the computer in my office  to start working! Hmmm .... is this lazy or overwhelmed. Anyhow, I have many deadlines this month, this week itself I have two! So feelings aside, deep breath, focus and start working!

Hari ini negaraku yang tercinta menyambut ulang tahunnya yang ke-50. Merdeka daripada jajahan Inggeris buat 50 tahun. Namun hatiku sedih mendengarkan berita-berita yang berlaku kebelakangan ini. Kisah-kisah korupsi, ketidakadilan, kerajaan yang kurang prihatin terhadap kaum minoriti dan pertambahan jurang di antara kaum membuatkan hatiku sedih.

Lately, the government and the police had been busy coming after bloggers. I think perhaps they should have something better to do.

I found some violent clips on Youtube. Keywords are "Malay UPM". I am not really sure what happened or what was the cause of the problem. However, the reaction by the Malay students are like a group of uneducated mobs (Hmm uneducated and yet in the University? This is confusing).

I was watching a documentary yesterday and it was about a seafood restaurant, something like Nordesee but it is a private seafood restaurant. They showed how the fishes are catched, processed and delivered to different shops. From one whole salmon, only the fillet is consumed by human. The heads and bones and being made into cat food, the skin is scrapped for other purposes.

it is a pretty busy week. quite some things to catch up, and still always feel i would need to get more sleep...

1. One day less - Monday was still a public holiday. so officially the week started only on Tuesday. Looking at the things we have to do - Easter Monday Perki service, Tuesday evening concert with Dresden's Gospel-Night choir, work work work and 1 CSI episode only this week... it is kind of a sign that i need break. btw, CSI episodes can be used to measure how much free time one has :) the more episodes you manage to catch in a week, shows you have the extra time to spend ;)
