From Summer to Autumn

I seldom write about summer to autumn, most of the time I write about winter to spring or spring to summer. I used to think that it is so sad when the sun cease to shine, and the sky is most of the time dark. The leaves start to turn yellow and fall. However, surprisingly I start to see it with another perspective. Instead of yellowish and dead, I find the colour - gold and classical. I guess I am getting use to the four seasons.

Inspired by Michelle's prawn Mee

Inspired by michelle's prawn mee photo I cooked prawn mee this weeken... ok actually started cooking the soup from Thursday... I started with the prawn shells, then on Friday took the shells out and put the pork rib and pork bones and finally on Friday night the chicken bones. Well, why over so many days - because I got the ingredients one by one and I got no time on Friday morning to clean the chicken!. Today I made the chilli paste and put the whole thing together and tomorrow gonna eat the prawn mee... ha..ha..

How can you hurt someone

There's many ways to hurt someone - you don't have to physically hit that person, in fact sometimes I think emotionally hurting someone is more hurtful than physically hitting someone. Of course this is my personal opinion. I have listed a few ways where we can emotionally hurt someone:

Bagai Rajawali

This song had been spinning in my head since last night. Ku kan terbang tinggi bagai rajawali di atas segala persoalan hidupku dan ku percaya saat ku bersama Dia, tiada yang mustahil buat Dia.

Short thoughts

Angry with a particular brother/sister in Christ? Well, don't let anger stay around for a long time cause "he" will not want to leave so easily after getting comfortable in your little home. Instead, invite "forgiveness" and "grace" to be your company. They will light up your little home.

"Forgive is giving up my right to hurt you for hurting me." - Dr. Archibald

It is all green

Sat for my theory test this morning. It was a long journey. Sian Lun and I registered for driving courses sometime in May last year. It was almost a year ago. We could take the test in English but there are no English learning material and we have to pay extra for the interpreter (stand: Dec 2008). So we decided to learn in German and take the test in German and that was quite some challenge.

Missing Home...

We will be leaving for Scotland and England holiday in few days time. There's lots to be done at work before leaving. Had been thinking it before I go to bed, after I play Bejeweled on facebook... and had been having weird dreams for the past three days. Yesterday was horrible - I woke up almost every two hours!

Working four days a week is nice ...

I took Friday off two weeks ago and also today. Coincidently, hubby was sick a fortnight ago and also this week. So he was around for two Fridays. It's really nice to take life at a slow pace. We woke up as normal working day. We started off our day with a good breakfast. Tidied the house... table and room had not look so good for a long long time. Vacumm the house (credit to hubby) and had a good lunch. Hubby is sitting currently in front of the computer catching up on his work for the week. Hopefully, it will be done by evening and we can go gym together...

I propose to watch movies in original language

Today in the news, a Turkish actor is currently the hit of cinemas (sorry cannot remember the name :P) but the movie is not so well accepted by Germans here. One of the reason given was it is a nuisance to read the subtitle. Unlike most movies for German consumption this movie was not translated to German. So if you want to watch this movie you have to watch it in Turkish and read the translation in German. Of course the German speaking community in Europe is big.
