when a person talk to you about ambulance, we all relate it directly with those siren making vehicles running across the streets (especially true, if you stay near a hospital like us). Well, that is the common one. Today i will share about another kind of ambulance. Yup, another kind.

Ever heard about air ambulance? It is still ambulance service, but on air. No no no, not on radio type of air, but real air! that means, it flies :) In the states there is a company offering  air ambulance service. Basically this is how it works: you can be transported by land ambulance to a local airport, and the air ambulance will pick you up from there. It will then fly you to your destination, and another ambulance (land one) will be ready to transfer you to your destination. 

Put aside rich people who have their own private jets, this service will provide a convenient and safe transport for people who are too ill to travel over long distances, but have the need to do so. Some times under critical condition a patient also need to be transfered, but the destination hospital might be too far if you wanna send him using a conventional ambulance. An air ambulance will solve such situation. Well, the price is of course a question to some, but when it comes to life and death, i think we will all pay for the best available method.

from the website it is stated there are even on board medical professionals providing services. So you can be rest assured that the transfer are done by trained people instead of unknown people. I would hope that more places will have such services, so that many people in need can get this when they need one. of course, the price should be not too high... we all hope that.
